When to Design Your Own
Eventgroove prides itself on having a wide variety of tickets and event materials for all occasions. But if you’ve found yourself clicking through hundreds of templates, and thinking, “Not quite,” or “I wish it had more room for photos,” or “Why can’t I print a square ticket with a picture of a bunyip dancing with a yowie,” it may be time to take matters into your own hands.
The Design Your Own tool helps customers create their own event products, just as they’d like them to be. Choose your colors, add your own images, decide if you want serial numbers or bar codes. It’s all up to you.
“Design” can be an intimidating word, especially if you don’t consider yourself particularly artistic. The DYO tool is simple to use, making custom designs available for anybody who’d like to make them.
Most of the time, you’ll find what you’re looking for among our templates. Football match? We’ve got it. Romantic gala? It’s here. Music event? We’re on it. But there are some situations where designing your own event materials may be the best option.
- You already have artwork and images you love.Perhaps your organisation already has a graphic designer or a large, high resolution logo. Maybe you want your event tickets to tie in with promotional materials you already have. Or you want to hold a contest, and feature the winning artwork on all of your event materials. In these cases, you’ll be able to take advantage of being able easily upload your existing images into the Design Your Own tool.
- You have very specific needs. If you need your ticket to have room for six sponsors’ logos, double as a raffle ticket, and be bright blue on the front and green on the back, designing your own guarantees you’ll have just what you need.
- You’d like to be creative. When you design your own tickets, you can change the colors, experiment adding images, and move the placement of text. If you enjoy playing with design and trying things out, the Design Your Own tool is fun. It enables you to create an event product that is uniquely your own.
Your event materials are often the first impression a participant gets of your event, and of your organisation. Whether it’s from one of our many templates, or your own design, make sure your tickets introduce you.
