Peter Triantis Puts on a Show with His Elvis to the “T” Act

Australia has the only Elvis performer to win the Australian – New Zealand Elvis Down Under Competition Back to Back (2012 and 2013), and last December, he entertained many rock and roll fans as they partied on the water. Peter Triantis and his Elvis to the “T” act successfully recreates the excitement and energetic mood Elvis had, leaving audiences feeling like they just viewed a concert by The King himself.

According to his website, Triantis started Elvis to the “T” after a career as a film extra and after developing a career in the music industry. Triantis has appeared on Melbourne’s AFL Footy Show, The Price is Right, Deal or No Deal, and 1 Vs. 100. He’s also appeared at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, Metro, Hugos, Festival Hall, Coogee Sands, Amber Lounge, Dome, and plenty more venues. He’s currently performing nationwide. Triantis is one of the best Elvis impersonators in Australia, becoming one of the top three finalists in the Ulitmate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition in 2012. Triantis has also started his own band called the “The Dellairs.” The band has become one of Australia’s premiere rock and roll/Elvis tribute bands.

Triantis’ Elvis to a “T” performances are produced by EPTV. According to its website, EPTV was created to display tribute talent from all musical genres. Apart from Triantis’ Elvis performances, other tribute artists include Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Roy Orbison, and plenty more.  EPTV’s different acts range from Australia, America, New Zealand, and Europe.

December 28 featured Triantis’ act during the Vegas Afloat cruise. The cruise, according to Triantis, happens during March, November, and December every year with 300 people on board. In order to get the word out about the event, Triantis used email. “We have over 50,000 on our email list,” he said.

The event was a rousing success, even before the event began. “ sold out six weeks before the event,” said Triantis. Some highlights from the event included “Elvis to the ‘T’ performing live on stage with Frank Amorosi and David Gouldson,” he said, also citing performances by The Vegas Showgirls as some of the best parts of the night.
